Jai Jinendra everyone… Well, it was quite the week! From firings at LOC to drone attacks in so many of our cities, life became quite unpredictable at one point of time. But thankfully, everything seems to be under control now.

Despite all odds, we succeeded in having an online class - Yay! We didn’t let Antaray karma to hit us hard!

Mahamantra Navkar

So in our previous class, we told you Mahamantra Navkar is an eternal and supreme mantra. This is why it is super important to know its meaning by heart.

The first five pads were discussed in the previous class (see notes of class 3). Now we shall discuss the rest.

Manglaacharan

  • Eso Panch Namokaro:

This means "This five-fold namaskar... " The mantra's five salutations to the Arihants, Siddhas, Acharyas, Upadhyayas, and Sadhus/Sadhvis are the essence of the mantra.

  •     Savva Pava Panasano:

This translates to "It destroys all sins" or "It purifies all negative karmas".

  •     Mangalanam Cha Savvesim:

This means "Among all auspicious things" or "Among all that is auspicious". The mantra is considered a source of good fortune and well-being.

  • Padhamam Havai Mangalam:

This translates to "It is the supreme auspiciousness". The mantra is considered the most important and beneficial among all auspicious mantras. You could call it the KING of Mantras!

By now we all must have understood how lucky we are to chant it everyday! Right kids?

Do you remember that time when you felt panicky and your mom told you to recite this mantra? Or when you were in pain and mom wanted to calm you down, so she slowly started chanting Navkar Mantra to soothe you?

This mantra sure is magical! Now you know what else is magical - your mom's love for you!

Mother’s Day Learnings

Since this was the Mother's Day week, we also talked about different kinds of mothers in the class. Let’s recall a bit...

  • Nation's mom- Bharat Mata

  • Our body’s mom- Your mom

  • Our soul’s mom - Jinvaani

Out of the three above, we very well know about the first two, but let’s learn about the most important and precious maa—— Jinvaani.

Now just to remind you - Jinvaani means the words spoken by our Jin Bhagwan (Arihant / Teerthankars) for the upliftment and betterment of every soul. Jinvaani is like a guidebook on how to lead our lives given to us by these super peaceful and eternally pure souls!

Analyzing our "Bhaavs" during the Indo-Pak Conflict

Well, the war-like situation in our country might have calmed down but our inner war with our karmas is still on! And being victorious in that war is the only way to Moksh, isn’t it?

So in our class, we discussed with the kids various reactions/thoughts that they might have had when a war-like situation was unfolding in front of them.

Next, we all folded our hands in “Kshama Yachna” by saying “Tass Michammi Dukkadam” for all the wrong thoughts that might have crossed our minds knowingly or unknowingly during these testing times.

This time we leave it up to you dear kids to explain these thoughts to your moms...

STORY TIME!

We hope you all had a great time learning and enjoying the special story-time section with Neha mam! We have already shared the video in our WhatsApp group if you want to revisit the story again :)
